Itinerary:

Day 1: Ouarzazate – Boutghrar – Dades gorges

Early in the morning you will be met at your Hotel/Riad by your driver to begin your Moroccan Sahara Tour by heading to to Dades Gorges, north of Kelaa , the city of roses. The month of May each year hosts a festival to celebrate the harvest of the New Year with the traditional Berber music. Frequented by the villagers, the festival presents an exhibition of local handicrafts and products of roses. This course is for people who love the color and contrast of southern Morocco, a loop with a section of track in the High Atlas Mountains with panoramic views of the verdant valley. A nice place for walks, mule rides and to meet the locals and nomads who spend their winters in the nearby caves and practice transhumance across massive Mgoun place. Lunch with the locals in the village of Boutghrar . Dinner and overnight at the contributing hotel Dades Gorge, located in the heart of the gorge, overlooking the valley of the Dades.

Day 2: Dades gorges – Todra gorges – Rissani – Merzouga desert

After breakfast, you descend the Dades Valley to the village of Boumalene to take the road of 1000 Kasbah then to the Valley Todra, which houses an ancient Mellah. you go along the huge palm to Todra 12 km to reach the gorge that extends from the village of Tamtatouche with spectacular 300m high cliffs on each side, an ideal place for mountaineering , it is also possible to go hiking . Lunch at the restaurant in the middle of the canyons with panoramic views. In the afternoon, we lead you to Tafilalt through Tinjedad , known by the ancient irrigation system and land in the village of Tourog where women appear like ninjas in their traditional dress of Rissani. Next destination: dunes of Erg Chebbi through a stony track to reach the dunes that is located at the foot of the dunes. Exchange 4×4 for camels not only to attend the sunset, but also to cross the dunes and spend the night in the oasis under nomad tent and romantic stars.

Day 3: Exploring Merzouga

We propose you can spend an extra day in Merzouga in order to enjoy your Sahara tour from Ouarzazate . and to make a turn behind the endless golden dunes near the borders with Algeria by 4×4 Toyota,the Merzouga dunes are about 25 km in length and 7 km width , they are the highest dunes in Morocco and reach 190 m. This tour will take you to discover not only the extraction of fossil sites in the region, but also the lakes near the village of Ramlia. Then you leave the village of Khamlia venue of the festival Ismkhans (black musicians of the region) once a year. You can watch a 40-minute show hosted by the local association of musicians and also to contribute to responsible tourism by buying their CD percussion as a souvenir. Lunch will be with a local family in the village of Hassi Lebied. In the afternoon, you will return to your Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Merzouga – Rissani –Nkob – Draa Valley-Ouarzazate

After early breakfast, see the sunrise and back on camels to Merzouga to have breakfast and take a shower in a Hotel then start the journey back to Ouarzazate . On the way you will visit the Berber shops with fossils, carpets, lamps, leather and then you continue to Tinjdad ,Todra Gorges ,Boumalene-du-Dades ,Stop for lunch and following your way .
