3 Days Morocco Trip from Marrakech

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Dades gorges

Here starts the 3-day Morocco trip from Marrakech! Our driver will meet and transport you to Dades via the High Atlas via the Tizi -n- Tichka.

You will go along a road that rises from the plains up to 2260 m through small villages, small waterfalls, the ever-changing landscape, and colors of the mountains.

You can take a break on the pass for a cup of refreshing mint tea and enjoy the scenery before going to the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, where you arrive in time for lunch.

Here, we can tour the famous Kasbah. It is a UNESCO World Heritage which has been the scene of movies like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and many others.

Then, we’ll go through Ouarzazate, Valley of Roses, and Dades Valley to reach the Dades Gorge in time for sunset.

We’ll stop in a very traditional and romantic hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Dades gorges – Todra gorges – Rissani – Merzouga

After breakfast, you can walk through the Dades, roll down the road of 1000 Kasbah, and go through Tinghir Kasbah.

In Todra, you’ll have lunch and a walk before heading to Merzouga via Rissani and Erfoud to arrive before sunset.

From there, we continue by camel through the dunes of Erg Chebbi for an unforgettable night in a Berber tent.

We will have dinner accompanied by the beat of drums and songs of Berbers, Tuaregs, and populations of southern Morocco under stars.

If we are lucky, we can see the Milky Way. The next day, the driver will wake you up to reach the highest dune of 200 m and view the sunrise at the border. We will return to the hotel after breakfast in a Berber tent.

Day 3: Merzouga desert – Marrakech

After you enjoy the view of the sunrise in the morning, we take a camel ride back to Merzouga. We then join our transportation for our trip through the Atlas Mountains to go back to Marrakech. That ends our 3-day Morocco trip from Marrakech.
